This website uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and does not build profiles of its visitors. That is why you will not see a banner asking for permission to install them. Even so, the law requires us to tell you which technologies are used and how to control them.

1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small file that a website stores on your device when you visit it. It is used, for example, to remember your preferences or to measure how many people visit a page.
Article 22.2 of the Spanish LSSI-CE requires the user’s consent to install cookies that are not strictly necessary to provide the service the user has requested.
2. Cookies used by this website
In the public part of the site, that is, the home page, the vehicle list, each vehicle page and the quote form:

Administration panel
The private management panel, accessed only by authorised RentacarIQ staff, does use a session cookie (PHPSESSID) that is strictly necessary to keep the session open. It is deleted when the browser is closed and is exempt from the consent requirement as it is essential to provide the service.
3. Resources loaded from third parties
Although they install no cookies, some visual elements of the site are downloaded from external servers, which means that your IP address is disclosed to those providers so that they can deliver the file:
- Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com): the site’s typefaces.
- Font Awesome, delivered by Cloudflare (cdnjs.cloudflare.com): the interface icons.
How to avoid it
If you prefer your browser not to contact those servers, you can block them with an extension or through your browser settings. The site will remain fully functional, although it will be displayed with a different typeface and without some icons.
4. Other storage technologies
This website uses no browser local storage, no device fingerprinting and no tracking pixels.
The quote form includes an anti-spam filter that adds a signed timestamp to the page. That timestamp is not stored on your device: it travels only with the form you submit, and serves to tell a person apart from an automated program.
5. How to manage cookies in your browser
You can configure, block or delete cookies for any site from your browser settings:

- Mozilla Firefox: Settings, Privacy & Security, Cookies and Site Data.
- Safari: Preferences, Privacy.
- Microsoft Edge: Settings, Cookies and site permissions.
6. Changes to this policy
If we add analytics or advertising tools in the future, we will update this policy and, before installing them, we will ask for your consent through a mechanism that lets you accept, reject or configure them.
